The EBE ML system has been designed to respond simultaneously to different project needs. With the structural rigidity of the thermal break profiles in steel, it is possible to make large windows with sections of just 85 mm, much smaller than those of wood. The depth of the metal profile also allows installation of thick insulating glazing with high thermal, acoustic, and safety performance.
The EBE ML window is lined on the inside with solid wood headed at 90 degrees with the exterior profile in metal, reducing the need for maintenance. EBE ML windows and doors are available in combinations of steel-wood, stainless steel-wood, corten steel-wood, and brass-wood, with various finishes available in order to integrate into the most diverse architectural contexts.
The performance of EBE ML has been tested by the best European certification laboratories in accordance with the current standard EN 14351-1 regulations.
System and Performance
The EBE ML is an integrated system of accessories, gaskets, and thermal break profiles with a depth of 91 mm which allows for a wide range of rectangular, shaped, or curved windows with insulating glazing up to 50 mm thick. The sealing characteristics of the windows are guaranteed by an open joint system with three sealing levels. The interior wood paneling can be replaced without removing the window.
Size and Variations
The EBE ML window is rebated on the inside and flush-mounted on the outside. The standard solution of the side section is 85 mm.
Glazing Bead
The glazing bead is made of wood and can be made in different shapes and with different species of wood, according to the various requirements of the project.
Handles
Vitruvio handles are available in paintable raw brass, burnished brass, polished chrome brass, and polished brass. The medium square version is also available in corten steel.
The system also allows for the installation of many handles on the market.
Hinges
The standard three-wing hinges are adjustable and available in galvanized steel with the “e-look” finish and colored plastic covers. The stainless steel hinges are available with a polished, scotch-brite, or burnished finish.
