2023 Customer Appreciation Trip
We appreciate our customers and never miss an opportunity to show them so! The Eurostar team spent three weeks in Europe with a select group of customers to visit our product partners and have some fun exploring the sites. This reward trip was meticulously planned to accommodate a number of key stops including a visit to the 2023 BAU. The BAU is recognized as one of the largest architecture and construction trade shows in the world. It attracts more than 2,400 exhibitors from more than 45 countries. Our guests had time to visit with their exhibitors of choice and learn about new products and applications for their business.
While in Munich, guests were treated to dinner at the Augustiner-Keller, a legendary brewhouse established by monks in the 13th century. The facility was used as an army barrack at some point so their dinning halls were nothing short of extraordinary. The group enjoyed the Augustiner’s world-famous beer which is unique in that it’s served straight out of wooden barrels. Fun fact: if you hear the strike of a bell while on site, it’s announcing the opening of a new barrel.
One of the highlights of the trip was a weekend in Dresden, a small German town rich in history and home to a few UNESCO world heritage sites. The town is walkable, so guests were able to spend time on their own exploring the Baroque churches and other fascinating structures. Dresden was leveled during World War II and was largely rebuilt utilizing its own rubble; it is a site to be seen.
After Dresden, the group traveled to Osaw Sień, Poland, where they stayed at The Palace at Osowa Sień, a castle built in the 1800’s. The charm of the castle, its décor and surrounding English gardens, took our guests to another world and time. Sharing a glass of wine, while sitting in the castle’s grand salon was an experience like no other.
In the midst of the leisure activities and other unmentioned highlights, the group traveled to Lake Garda, Italy to visit Manital, our European partner and provider of artisan hardware for doors and windows. The group also traveled to Rawicz, Poland to spend a day at the Kowalsky windows and doors plant where they learned about the legacy of the Kowalsky family and the craftsmanship behind their products. Lastly, the group visited the Awilux office, an amazing facility worthy of their slogan “Amazing Life Quality”. During the visit our guests were able to immerse themselves in the history of the brand and meet the team while learning more about the products.
Many thanks to the customers who joined us on this magnificent getaway. Time spent with our customers is always time well-spent and we look forward to doing it again.
